Scooters are Cheap forms of Transportation
Not counting public transportation, getting a scooter might be the the cheapest way to travel. These things get well over 50 miles to the gallon and that would be a bad one. Some can go has high as 100 miles to the gallon. Check on Craigslist or EBay are you are bond to find many listings for Extremely Cheap Gas Powered Scooters. The cheapest ones are obviously going to be used, but some of the smaller new ones are very reasonably priced. We are taking as low as $2000 for a brand new one. Now that is a very affordable way to get around town.
