If you have signed up recently with Bartercard or are a long term member then you will be at an advantage to electronically process your transactions. To do this you will need to sign up for an eftpos terminal or mobile eftpos terminal that accepts Bartercard. Not all bank credit card machines accept Bartercard. This requires an arrangement with the merchant provider and Bartercard head office. Transactions also require additional software and a different platform to work off from credit and debit cards. The advantages are quick and simple processing of transactions as well as instant verification of the amount of funds of the purchaser.
