Washington Mortgage Market
I am not sure exactly how long ago it was, but I know that Washington Mutual did finally have to close its doors when the recession hit the banking industries. Was it able to sell off the business or can I still find a branch there today just run by a different company? I am asking because I used to have my seattle mortgage through that bank and I am trying to do my taxes this year and I have a few questions regarding the old mortgage. Where would I go to get these answers so I can prepare my taxes properly?
