Do We Really Need Anti Aging Products?

Anti aging products have become big business. Some say it generates sales topping $100 billion annually. That is tough to argue against. On the other hand, for every article we see touting a new age-combatting product, you can find another by a respected medical professional arging that most of these products do little or nothing to stop the natural process of aging. In a society fascinated with the news that a 60 year old Meryl Streep will bare her legs in a movie, obviously there are issues. But we are who we are- a society where grey in men is distinguished and in women doddy, where wrinkles on men are distinguished and on women unmentionable. Maybe we don´t need these anti aging products, but it is tough to argue against $100 billion in sales.
