Some articles and testimonies are saying that led light bulbs cost more that the more common standard incandescent and fluorescent lights. But come to think of it. Yes, LED light bulbs cost more, but the price difference is not really big. And electricity consumption wise, LED light bulbs are more efficient. They consume less electricity than the incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs do and they emit brighter light. Multiple light bulbs are no longer necessary in the rooms of houses as even one LED light bulb can definitely do the job of two or three incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs. So even LED light bulbs cost a little extra, electricity bills would certainly drop appreciably.
