Facebook ID Theft Protection Rule #1 - Use A Strong Password
A strong password will help you ward off identity thieves from hacking into your Facebook account. This is one of the protections you can do for yourself and for your friends. A strong password should consist of small caps and capital letters, special characters, and numbers. At least make your password about 7 to 10 characters long and don’t use obvious personal information data to create it. An example of a weak password could be your nickname, your children’s names, anniversary or birth dates, your initials, and other things that can be easily decoded and guessed by hackers or identity thieves.
