I have friends that live in London and have heard about new drinking fountains popping up everywhere. With millions of empty plastic bottles of water filling up landfills every day, it is good to see a city trying to do something about it. Yes, more and more are being recycled which is great, but still more and more keep filling up the environment.  Having more drinking fountains in public places will help the environment as people wouldn’t worry as much about having water to drink everywhere they go. In London, water fountains are seen in public places such as bus and rail stations, helping the commuter to get a drink of water before and after their commute.
