The Need For A Site Specific Safety Plan
If you live in Australia and are about to do some type of major construction, there is little doubt that you will need a site specific safety plan. The legislation and regulations specifically stipulate that a safety plan needs to be drawn up and approved before any construction can commence.
The bottom line is that you don’t want to be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that take place on your work site. A site safety plan is one way to relinquish some liability when it comes to safety. The need of having one can never be understated and should only be encouraged more throughout the country.
