Brazilian Diplomacy and Oil
Brazilian Diplomacy within the United States could be hurt if President Obama urges Brazil and other economic power players around the world to implement an economic stimulus package similar to the one that the United States Congress passed earlier. You certainly don’t want to go around meddling in Brazil’s budgetary affairs especially when the world’s economy is so tough and it can be so easy for a country to run a deficit with all the revenue shortfalls around the world. Other countries should also not betting involved in the decisions that Brazil makes regarding their new oil discoveries. Brazil should be proud of these finds and if they want to use the resources domestically, people should get out of the way in my estimation within the diplomatic world.
